This place is the best! Since I work in downtown, the location is great for me. Owners Stephen and Ashley Newhart are super friendly and very approachable. The staff is fantastic as well. All of the trainers are total professionals. Calista at the front desk is awesome! She always has a positive attitude, and greets you with a smile every time you walk in. This place has all the gym equipment you need, and everything is always so clean. Can't speak any higher about a gym.

I love coming to Vigor! It’s become my home away from home; ask anyone that works the front desk. Facility is clean. Staff is friendly and they remember everyone. Although I have not used their personal training services, trainers are well certified and knowledgeable. I even just noticed a number of machines/equipment that were added and/or upgraded, including the addition of their infrared saunas and PEMF. I was recently on vacation back home and had to pay for day passes at another “major brand gym”. I hated it. Had to make modifications to my routines because they just didn’t have some of the basic cable equipment that Vigor has that I’ve become accustomed to. Or, even just equipment Vigor has that would only be available at other gyms to members receiving personal training. If you’re in the downtown area, Vigor Active is my recommendation.

Came in for a layover(flight crew) and Chloe greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel extremely welcome. The gym has a nice layout and flow. As I was leaving she remembered my name and told me to have a safe flight back to ORD. Next time I lay over here I will most definitely come back here! Quality employee and amazing customer service!

Folks, a good gym is hard to find, but finding a great gym is a diamond in the rough. I have been a member at Vigor for almost a year, and I truly love this gym. Ashley and Stephen (Owners) have done a remarkable job with this place and putting together an amazing staff that ALWAYS make you feel welcome. If you get a chance, check this place out and give it a shot.

I was in Ft Worth for a conference and needed a “real” gym because as we all know, hotel gyms are a joke. Vigor fit my needs perfectly! Great equipment, friendly staff, facility was well kept and background music perfect. All for $20 a day. Recommend this gym if you’re a serious weightlifter visiting beautiful Ft Worth!

Vigor Active is an all-around great gym. There’s a good balance of machines and free weights, and they’re all well-maintained. The men’s locker room is impeccably clean. And the staff are awesome (looking at you, CJ) - they know my name and always say hello! It’s definitely not a show-off type of gym, but the kind of place you go to work on being your healthiest self, no matter where you’re currently at. Special shout out to trainer Ivan Avila - I worked with him for about a year, and he didn’t just help me get back into shape, he made it possible for me to stay in shape. Anytime I had a question, he would give me an honest and comprehensive answer. He’s very encouraging and enthusiastic and just genuinely a nice person to be around. If you’re looking for someone to help you meet your fitness goals, I highly recommend Ivan.

This is a great gym, love the staff and the crowd is very nice to be around. Plenty of equipment and I'm never waiting on anything. Max is an amazing personal trainer, knows what he is doing and very much cares about you and your progress, helped me tremendously. Highly recommend him!

I’ve been a member Vigor Active for five years now and I just renewed again without hesitation. It’s a family-owned gym right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, and it truly stands out. The equipment is state-of-the-art, always well-maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming without being over-the-top. Open seven days a week, it fits easily into my schedule, and I’ve always appreciated how the owners, Stephen and Ashley, are hands-on and genuinely care about the members. Whether you’re new to working out or have been lifting for years, this place makes it easy to stay consistent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid gym with a local, personal touch.

I’ve been a member at Vigor Active for about 7 months now and I couldn’t be happier! The facility is clean, vibrant and the equipment and machines are amazing! There is literally something for everyone. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and Stephen and Ashley are always happy to stop what they’re doing and just have a conversation with you. They genuinely care about your experience and listen to any suggestions you may have. I’ve known Stephen for many years and am so happy to see a homegrown business do well. Couldn’t have happened to a better family, keep up the great work!

Before joining Vigor Active, I was a member at 24 Hour Fitness—and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. At Vigor, you absolutely get your money’s worth. From the state-of-the-art equipment and sauna to the spotless facilities and genuinely friendly staff, this gym has exceeded my expectations since I joined earlier this month. Another standout perk is that new members receive three free sessions with a certified trainer. It’s a fantastic way to get familiar with the gym, learn the equipment, and build a solid foundation for your fitness goals. With a membership, you get access to their classes as well. They have a really great Pilates class that I've attended. Overall, I highly recommend this gym.
